Senior Software Developer – Java  with Ajax / Hibernate developers for Capital Markets

Job Description

• Play key role in design and development of Java based next generation Hedge fund Processing Platform  – Clydesdale including Portfolio management System, Order management and partnership accounting – TradeOps.
• Interact with leading clients, understand requirement and arrive at optimal design
• Development and testing of end-to-end functionality including database, UI and middleware
• Deployment, monitoring and support
• Great opportunity to work in one of the hottest areas in investment banking using the state of art technologies.
• Small team with good potential to grow.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years hands on java development
• Solid Core Java
• Hands on with Java enterprise APIs
• Servlets, Java mail, logging, transactions
• Hands on with the following frameworks
• MySQL, Hibernate, Jasper, Ajax – jQuery, Struts, Spring, GWT
• Good Written and Oral Communication
• Client interaction
• BFSI domain

• Experienced in consulting for complex investment accounting and investment management, hedge fund or derivative trading operations
• Strong financial services industry experience
• Able to construct from first principles
• Focused on the business process and operational aspects of consulting engagements
• Knowledgeable about multiple aspects of the trade life cycle
• Hands-on experience with front-, middle- and/or back-office groups
• Comfortable managing multiple clients, including investment managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, banks, broker/dealers and multinational corporations
• Quick to recognize changing client needs and industry trends
